Last night KTOO radio in Juneau hosted a delicious event, the annual Seafood Fest. What a treat!
The evening started out with a fun and educational beer tasting led by Andy Kline of the Alaskan Brewing Co. I particularly enjoyed the Winter Ale but the label on their new Double Black IPA is creative and beautiful. The beer is mighty tasty too.
We then moved on to delectable seafood choices from a few of Juneau wonderful restaurants and caterers. Dishes from halibut ceviche to Asian fusion Salmon, halibut tacos and smoked cod ice cream. Lots of wonderful flavors and choices.
I love local food fests. They foster culinary creativity as well as the opportunity for attendees to taste some great food in a wonderful environment. Below are some pictures of the event.
